Tulip Hiroshima Needles - Embroidery Needle Sharps #10

With a large, long eye and sharp point, these embroidery needles from Tulip Japan are perfectly suited to hand embroidery.

As a general guideline for hand embroidery, these are the suggested needle size and thread combinations:

• Size 3 Needle => 5-6 strands of embroidery floss or Size 3 Perle Cotton
• Size 5 Needle => 4-5 strands of embroidery floss or Size 5 Perle Cotton
• Size 6 Needle => 12 weight thread
• Size 7 Needle => 3 strands of embroidery floss or Size 8 Perle Cotton
• Size 8 Needle => 2-3 strands of embroidery floss or Size 8 Perle Cotton
• Size 9 Needle => 1-2 strands of embroidery floss or Size 12 Perle Cotton
• Size 10 Needle => 1 strand of embroidery floss
