Use 2-1/2” fabric strips to make these colorful fireflies. Just a few of these large-scale blocks will make a bold and graphic impact on your next quilt!

The pattern includes instructions for making quilts measuring 40" x 48" or 60" x 70".

Five fabric strips will be used to make each Frances Firefly block. The blocks will be most successful when each block is made from five fabrics from the same color family, in a range of values from light to dark. A mid-tone neutral background fabric is recommended, as this will create contrast with both the light and dark solid block details and the colorful fabrics used to make the firefly wings.
