Hunter's Design Studio - Mortimer

Mortimer is a paper-pieced skull block in two sizes. The large-sized block can be used to make 3 different sizes of quilt, with two border options.

The pattern is for the Skull block (in two sizes) and the border options – assembly and numbering is included. General “how to paper-piece instructions” are not included.

SKILLS NEEDED: Basic rotary cutting skills; a basic knowledge of foundation paper-piecing techniques; a consistent, mostly accurate 1/4’’ seam; basic quilt finishing skills. 

NOTE: Before sewing, you’ll need to trace at home, or copy the enclosed patterns on 11’’ x 17’’ papervat your local library, copy shop, or office supply store.
