Carolyn Friedlander - Olive Quilt

According to Carolyn: "From my desk on Olive Street in St. Louis, I watched a row of trees change through the year, a constant reminder of time and season—something new to a Florida native. Olive Wall is named for that view. It can be made to reflect the seasons or time of day, or to tell a different story. In my cover sample, I used a warm palette to represent the subtle variations of Florida’s seasons, and stripes to emphasize the shape, grain, and direction of the tree limbs."
