Melly & Me - Once Upon A Time - Three Little Pigs

It was pure fun meeting Rosalie and Melanie of Melly & me at Houston's Quilt Market, and it was almost as fun getting introduced to the wonderful cast of cute characters in their pattern line! This gorgeous Once Upon a Time quilt is made up of 9 individual blocks, plus a tenth pattern with instructions to assemble and finish the quilt. Each of the 9 blocks measures approximately 18" square and incorporates cute embroidery together with patchwork for an adorable fairy tale quilt. The quilt finishes at approximately 60" square. Use this as a great Block-of-the-Month project!

To complete Block 7, the Three Little Pigs, you'll need:

14" square of cream or natural cotton

14" square of fusible interfacing

3" pink print fabric

3" green print fabric

strips of 10 different fabrics measuring 2" x 11" (2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow, 2 grey, 1 green & 1 pink)

embroidery floss in red, blue, purple, orange, green, pink, grey, and brown

small piece of fusible webbing

To complete the entire quilt, you'll need:

45" square of cream or natural cotton

70" square of fusible interfacing

30" pink print fabric

30" green print fabric

6" of 10 different fabrics (2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow, 2 grey, 1 green & 1 pink)

30" cream print fabric (sashing)

16" blue print fabric (binding)

embroidery floss in red, blue, purple, orange, green, pink, grey, yellow, skin color, and brown

fusible webbing, backing fabric, and batting
