Heather Jones Studio - Marrakech

Large Version: finished size 80" x 80"
Small Version: finished size 40" x 40"

This large-scale design, inspired by Islamic tile patterns, is a great project to showcase your favorite fabrics, especially large scale prints. The Marrakech pattern works very well with solid fabrics too, and the background fabric creates an eye-catching secondary design that forms a radiating star pattern. The large scale design is a great opportunity to showcase up to eight beautiful printed fabrics, as there are many large areas of them throughout the quilt; a secondary design is formed by the background fabric to create an additional radiating star pattern. Marrakech is suitable for experienced quilters or confident beginners. The pattern contains over twenty-four full color diagrams and step-by-step instructions for both the Large Version, which finishes at 80” x 80,” and the Small Version, finishing at 40” x 40.”
