Osnaburg - Natural

Osnaburg is a loose weave, natural fiber textile that has been used for centuries as a relatively inexpensive fabric for a wide range of finished projects - from clothing for the poor and enslaved people to wagon coverings and sacks for transporting goods. It is now used widely for historic costume sewing (including underlinings), patchwork, home dec projects, small upholstery work, and more. It has a rustic, homespun look thanks to the unbleached cotton and relatively looser weave.
