Essex Linen - PFD White

Guaranteed success with hand-dyeing is virtually guaranteed with linen. The linen fibers exhibit wonderful dye uptake, becoming more saturated that similiarly prepared cottons. This prepared-for-dye (PFD) fabric has been desized, scoured, and fully bleached, but has been processed without optical brighteners or softeners which can interfere with dye uptake. This quilting weight fabric is 55% linen and 45% cotton and is 43" wide. Price per yard.
