The Alpine Symphony collection celebrates the awesome power and glory of nature – from the heights of sweeping, snow-dusted vistas to the valleys lush with wild meadow flowers. These prints feature a rich symphony of flora and fauna, standing vibrant and yet utterly serene in the crisp mountain air. The collection takes its name from Richard Strauss’ 22-section piece An Alpine Symphony, composed in 1915 to explore the sublime beauty of the natural world.
Our Staccato print was drawn from a 1970s Liberty London original and recolored for this season. Its small, stylized spring florals are reminiscent of our earlier ‘30s prints, with a fresh yet retro-edged Alpine appeal.
