Plissé - Tonbo - Ivory

Wonderful for lightweight summer garments for adults and kids alike, this plissé features a traditional print of dragonflies (tonbo) flitting about. Plissé is a substrate meant to mimic the texture and appearance of seersucker, and it is widely used in Japan for summer garments, including yukata, jinbei, blouses, and more.

This is a printed woven cotton plissé fabric with a stripe repeat.

  • Care Instructions: Always pre-wash for wearables in the same method you plan on laundering the completed garment. Fabric can be machine washed and dried. To best preserve color, wash in cold water and hang to dry. Use a warm to hot iron as needed to achieve desired results.
