Ideas for my next collection were already percolating when Yorgos Lanthimos’ film Poor Things came out, but watching this color-saturated scifi flick made it all click! The beautiful, saturated palette that feels somehow “off” really resonated with me, and I loved the feminist twist to the story - we watch as a young (Frankenstein-like) woman discovers the world and her own joy in it.
