This hefty book is an incredible compendium of 163 different patchwork and applique quilt blocks. It includes a color photograph, piecing schematic, and pieced diagram for each block. Additional photographs provide ideas for finished projects for some of the blocks. Note that the book is written in Japanese, but patterns and schematics are included. Crafters who cannot read Japanese but who have some sewing experience are usually able to interpret the instructions without any trouble, and others can use the projects as inspiration for their own creations.
