About the Instructor:

Maggie Hill has been sewing for 20+ years - mostly making apparel for herself and her friends. She decided to make her hobby a career when she went to college at Kent State University majoring in Fashion Design. There Maggie honed her skills in apparel design, pattern making, draping, and sewing. For the past 8 years, her 9-5 has been designing apparel for companies like Abercrombie and Fitch, Burton Snowboards, and most recently, Patagonia. During her free time Maggie continues to make her own clothing, and she enjoys teaching and sharing her love of sewing.
